The House Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee, which Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) is a member of, is uncovering what he describes as the “world’s largest taxpayer-funded money laundering scheme.” From shadowy nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) funding illegal immigration to improper payments and censorship regimes, the subcommittee is shedding light on systemic corruption that has gone unchecked for decades.

However, the DOGE subcommittee – chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and part of the bigger House Oversight Committee – is running out of time to fix it. “We understood coming into the election – you’ve got about an 18-month window to save the country,” said Cloud, who represents the Lone Star State’s 27th district in Capitol Hill. He stressed that he and his colleagues in the subcommittee have to move fast and hard, and make course corrections in this window of opportunity.

According to Cloud, past administrations – including that of former President Barack Obama – had promised to tackle waste and fraud. But bureaucratic inertia and deliberate obstruction prevented meaningful reform. Today, the DOGE Subcommittee is using AI crawlers and data aggregation tools to map out financial malfeasance at an unprecedented speed.

The Texas congressman also told Adams that they have been dealing for years with unelected bureaucrats who slow-walk investigations, give half-answers and drag things out. He added that their committee now has an executive branch willing to work with them who are bringing game-changing technology to the table.

The “Magic Money” scandal and the censorship-industrial complex

One of the most shocking revelations involves what Adams referred to as “magic money computers.” According to reports, 14 federal computers – primarily in the Department of the Treasury, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Defense – were found generating unauthorized payments out of thin air. These systems, operating without proper oversight, facilitated billions in improper transactions, effectively functioning as a shadow financial network.

Cloud said this isn’t just waste it is a taxpayer-funded money laundering scheme with American dollars being funneled through shell agencies to leftist NGOs pushing Marxist ideologies, censorship and even the border invasion.

The DOGE’s AI tools are cross-referencing databases to expose duplicate payments, fraudulent small business loans and ghost beneficiaries – including Social Security recipients over 120 years old who were somehow approved for pandemic relief funds. Beyond financial fraud, the DOGE subcommittee is investigating how federal dollars have propped up Big Tech censorship regimes.

Cloud pointed to Facebook’s $400 million election interference and ongoing shadow-banning of conservative voices as examples of taxpayer-funded suppression. He took note that Mark Zuckerberg can donate to a presidential library, but he has to make restitution for the people who lost their careers because of demonetization and deplatforming.

Despite recent admissions from outlets like the New York Times, which finally acknowledged the lab origin of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) after years of silencing dissenters, Cloud warned that censorship hasn’t ended. Adams agreed, pointing out that Google, YouTube and Facebook are still banning discussions on ivermectin, election fraud and other “wrongthink.”

The path forward: Legislation and prosecution

Unlike previous administrations, Cloud noted that Department of Justice (DOJ) criminal referrals now have teeth, thanks to a cooperative executive branch. However, he cautioned against impatience, explaining that building airtight cases takes time.

The subcommittee’s findings could lead to major legislative reforms, including:

• Defunding corrupt NGOs tied to border trafficking and censorship.
• Overhauling improper payment systems with AI-driven oversight.
• Reining in rogue agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which Cloud accused of destroying functional farm equipment under misguided regulations.

The DOGE subcommittee’s work represents a last-ditch effort to dismantle decades of corruption before America’s financial system collapses under its own weight. Cloud warned the current Trump administration isn’t just a four-year reprieve but a need for a permanent course correction.
